Hey!

If i'm not posting in the correct area please let me know and I'll move it.

So now to my issue. My internet was working just fine till a Microsoft update last night. I am connected through Ethernet to a powerlink setup that has been working fine for about 2 weeks now. I tried to troubleshoot the issue and I just keep getting that network protocols are missing, so like any computer wannabe I googled and tried literally every single option I could find to fix this. I have disabled/reenabled the realtek port, flushed the dns, added full control to everything in the directory, about 10 different entries into cmd prompt, reset the powerlinks to factory settings, and still no change.

Oh and since my pc is brand new (just built within 3 months) I didn't setup a restore point, so I am out of luck there.

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

I get this error a lot and from my experience resetting my router fixes the problem.

Okay so here is an almost complete list of what I've tried.

-restart modem and router

-restart power line units and reset them

-disabled and re-enabled network device

-deleted and reinstalled network device

-flushed winsock

-reset winsock

- ran netcfg -d

-changed permissions on winsock

at this point idk what to do other than just wipe it :( please someone help
