It is weird, because when I performed 3DMark Firestrike, I achieved 1,303MHz core clock on my GTX 760 SC ACX 2GB (EVGA)

http://www.3dmark.com/fs/8205886

As stated on the page about my GPU, it usually only stays around 1072MHz, only going up to 1137MHz... Weird.

http://www.evga.com/Products/Specs/GPU.aspx?pn=D34D9B88-00D7-4F24-A92D-76ECD7BB6346

I have checked on GPU-Z, and My ASIC quality is 76.2%.

Note: I have not overclocked it, as I have tried and my PC only crashes no matter what I do.

What gave you the clock speed measurement? 3DMark?

yes... there is a link. i don't get it.

Run the same test, but monitor the clocks with Afterburner or Precision X instead.

just did, and the clocks were still up in the 1300's... i still don't understand.

With your previous overclocking efforts, what was your methodology? And have you made any changes since then, including driver updates?

I have not made any changes since then, and in afterburner I was even just trying to go for a few MHz and up the voltage a few percent, with no efforts...

Are you sure your clocks were within those advertised ranges? The advertised ranges tend to be liberal about what the GPU is actually capable of - people actually end up going higher than that without overclocking, and when you're trying to overclock, you might be going beyond 1,303MHz.

The thing is, the card downright refuses to OC any more than what its currently at...

on tomshardware, here's an article about overclocking a 760... http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-760-review-gk104,3542-7.html

the thing is, my card is not overclocked, and is reaching this high of performance.... on the evga page, the core clock is quite low (1072MHz), even though it is an SC card...

GPU Boost 2.0 will make the card overclock itself if it can. You're stating that it's running at 1303MHz, and crashes if you try to overclock it more.

The example that you're showing in the link is one sample, and doesn't represent everything that's out there. You might just be lucky.

how would this relate to the ASIC quality? it's at 76.2% and from reading stuff on GPU-Z, a higher ASIC quality means better overclocking on air, but i don't think my asic quality is very good...

I don't personally rely on ASIC quality very much. The information that we have is our interpretation of ASIC quality, and not everyone's experience will necessarily match their ASIC quality.
