Hello!

A friend of mine has a 3570K paired with some Asus motherboard and Gskill 16GB RAM. He is selling all these 3 components to a mate for 300€ and upgrading to Skylake. But there are some questions to answer to.

1- He has been checking on lots of motherboards but hasn't decided one. I guess it came down to these 2: Asus Z170 Maximus VIII Ranger and Asus Z170-PRO. Which one of these would be a better choice, overall? Considering, overclocking, features, stability, support, etc? Are any other boards worth checking?

2- 6600k or 6700k? He mostly games on his PC but I reckon a 6700K would be the right choice considering the upgrade, and he comes from a i5, so why not going higher, right?

3- RAM. Gskil Trident Z 3000MHz  15-16-16-35-2N or Gskill Ripjaws V 3200MHz 16-18-18-38-2N?

4- We are in Portugal, so probably prices here are higher than US, but he is probably willing to spend maybe around 500€.

Any ideas?

Cheers!
