So I have my 4690k overclocked to 4.5 ghz at 1.215v stable. For the cooler I am using a Corsair h110i set as exhause in pull. When I run stress tests the temps are around 65-70c give or take. Today I was doing some gaming (World of Warcraft) and highest cpu temps seemed to be around 55-60c. Do these temps sound right for my setup?

Cool thanks for the reply, you always hear so many different things about where temps should be it's hard to get a clear answer sometimes.

I mean your stress temps are about 60-70 which is about right. But, you might wanna look and clean them a little bit. 55-60 while playing WoW is quite alarming. I don't remember WoW being that cpu intensive.

Think when I was playing I was at around 40-50% load when st those temps in wow. Also should add that I was in a 5 man dungeon when these temps were  recorded. If I remember riget also I played GTA 5 about a week ago on these oc settings and the temp was somewhere around 65c if I remember correct.

I think it's ok for now since you're way below the danger zone. How long did you have your cooler and when was the last time you cleaned it?

Now that I look at it, it should be fine. If those high temps worry you, turn your oc down a bit and see what kind of temp you're getting. But don't worry too much! :D

Not that I am really worried it's dangerous, more so was looking to see it they fell in the normal range for my system I guess.
