So I'm looking at a GPU upgrade from my super budget R7 360. A GTX 950 doesn't seem like a big enough of an upgrade to me (as good of a card as it is, more than enough for my needs but having more spec is always handy), so I'm looking at the GTX 960 or an R9 380 (4GB for both), but I'm not sure what to go for. Relevant specs for my PC here:

AMD x4 860k (clocked at 4.5Ghz with Corsair H105, soft overclock and overkill cooler I know, don't hate)

Hyper X 8GB Ram 1866Ghz (2x4GB)

Asus A88XM-A

Corsair CX430

Sandisk SSD Plus 240GB

I'd rather the 380 just because it'll be a nice AMD build then, but the issue is, the 380 says 500w PSU or more, so the CX430 wouldn't do. Should the CX430 be okay for a GTX 960 (like a EVGA 4G FTW)? Or am I going to need a new PSU either way? Or should I save a load of money, buy myself a nice 950 (or 370) and spend the rest on some other bits (another 8GB RAM possibly)?

Any advice would be great, thanks.

With the CPU OCd you will hitting the limits of your PSU with a AMD 380 and with the Nvidia 960 will be close.

Could drop the OC from the CPU and get a 380 and be fine, or reduce the OC atleast

I don't really fancy dropping the OC as most of the games I play are fairly CPU intensive, so anything helps.
