$260 GPU Upgrade

I'm doing some upgrades. After getting an i5-4590 for $170, I have about $260 USD for a new GPU (and PSU if necessary, currently have CX430M). At first, I was thinking R9 380 and Seasonic M12II PSU, but then I thought about going used. What could I get in this price range, used or new? Was my first idea the best that can be done?

If your thinking about getting new psu, might be worth looking at used 290x

And where does that plus a new PSU fit into a $260 USD budget? Just the 290X alone could cost more than $260...

Ok, so my first idea (well your idea actually, now that I think of itxD) was a good idea.

You COULD buy used but you don't get a warranty most of the times

There aren't a lot of good used psu's out there but for 260 bucks you could get a used R9 290 X.

The $260 is for a used or new GPU and a new PSU.
