I want to watch movies from my iPad on my TV. It's not a smart TV or anything so the only way to input video is with an actual wired connection. So I was going to get a Lightning to HDMI adapter so I could connect the two. I was just wondering if there was anything I should look out for when buying one? Or maybe there's a simpler method to connect the two?

Thanks. I'm hoping to buy one in a shop today. I just wanted to be sure that there were no obscure details or issues to worry about.

Well I am not sure…. ask the guys at the shop even thought they probably have absolutely no clue
