So I built my very first pc ever a few months ago and at the time I didn't have enough money to purchase an HDD and an SSD so I just got a 250gb SSD with plans to purchase an HDD when I got the money. Well that time came and I finally got a 3tb HDD for mass storage. The issue I am having is with file allocation. Hardware I love and kinda understand, software cause me aggravation. So what i want to do is move everything from my SSD to my HDD except for games and boot, BUT I want to know if I can still have everything show up under "This PC" instead of having to search for everything through my HDD. In addition can I just make it so everything saves to the HDD? Not fantastic at software like i said so any help at all would be absolutely fantastic. And if I am just missing simple easy and wonderful solutions, please be gentle. ;)

Unfortunately, there's no automatic way to have your PC put stuff on the correct drive.

Your windows libraries (pictures, videos, documents, desktop, downloads, etc) can have their location changed from the default (which is the drive windows is on)

That takes care of some things.

Also, programs generally ask you where you want to install them, and you can choose a folder on your HDD
