Better window for Mastercase 5 Pro

Hello everyone,

 

I recently finished my new build with the CM Mastercase 5 Pro. I love the case, but I dont really like the window (too smoked, looks "foggy" in low light, fingerprints show too easily).

I am looking for a high-quality acrylic solution for a replacement. I contacted www.customcasemods.de and they said they are working on a window, but I have not heard back from them.

 

Are there any other products out there?

Grab a piece of stained glass and build it yourself:D

If it was just drilling the holes I would be all for it

But the window is "set" into the sidepanel to be completely flush (hard to explain), which means a little more machining experience is needed.

There are some manufacturers who replace the whole panel with acrylic, which is sort of the "easy" way. That doesn't look good IMO though, because it

exposes some of the frame, which isn't too sexy.

Coolermaster has a different side panel for the Maker version of the Mastercase 5. Perhaps that is more to your liking:

Thats what I'm looking for, but less smoked. Is it available to buy yet?

If I remember correctly when CM announced the Maker 5, they said it will be only available in the CM store. I just checked the US and EU store and no sign of the Maker 5.

 

But I found something nice in the EU store:

Perhaps u could contact the company doing these top covers and ask if they do a side panel, too.
