Hey guys. So I basically want to run a virtual machine off of a USB stick.
The reason is, I want to use the exact same computer in multiple environments. The computer can be pretty light weight - but ideally, I should be able to run it using mac, windows or linux as the host os.

I don't know what type of Guest OS is most suitable, but linux might be the only option.

I figure the most important metrics are storage space, physical design and read-write cycles. The drive is likely to be jutting out the side of a laptop from time to time, and I know sandisk has some excellent small form factors.

Can any of you think of why this idea is retarded, or does any of you have any specific recommendations?
