#malwarebytes Malwarebytes freaking out - blocking gstatic.com domain repeatedly

Okay, I know this may not be the best place for this, but this forum is filled with active members who actually know PCs.

 

To my knowledge, nothing has recently been installed onto my computer besides class essential documents for AP Biology. Earlier today my Malwarebytes starting freaking out and blocking the gstatic.com domain and several other versions of it like ssl.gstatic.com. I have run Malwarebytes Hyper Scan and I am currently running the full Malwarebytes Threat Scan. I've gone through most of my files and I can't find anything that is raising any redflags. If you could help me figure out why Malwarebytes is freaking out and, if action is needed, how to remove this PUP?

I would love to know this as well, my brother has the same issue. I am using malwarebytes as well but i do not have the issue myself.

Mine just started that behavior within the past half hour. It's going off every second and driving me nuts.

Do you have another harddrive besides C drive? My brother has his disconnected for some reason while that issue is there.

I do not have any other local drives. I have a local NAS set up that communicates between this computer and the three other computers in our house but nothing located on this machine because my C drive.

It may be a false positive because malwarebytes has just been updated, i do not actually think it is an issue.

Updating database seems to fix the issue. My brother just had his fixed. He might still have issues with his pc still, but we'll resolve that later, it has nothing to do with this.

Right clicked on icon in systray and did manual update. FIXED, thank goodness!
