Computer Just freezes

So when i watch a video or listen to music my whole pc just locks up and the audio gets crunchy but if i turn down the res its fine or just staying at deskstop its freezing no virus and is quiet

If the PC you're referring to is the one in your sig, then I'd say it's likely a software issue, your hardware is more than capable of this.

 

What are you using to listen to music / watch videos? Youtube? What browser?

google chrome and i watch netflix, youtube and listen to spotify

Try updating your graphics driver (I assume you have G-Force Experience)

Perhaps try Firefox too, though it isn't super likely to fix it.

so i tried edge and its fine any tips since i don't like firefox i am a huge chrome user.

Is the stuff you said you do ( netflix, youtube and listen to spotify ) through your browser (chrome) ?

 

If so, try reinstalling chrome.

it was like cpu_failure_ I think but then it never happened again i ran prime 95 and got 0 miss calcutations
