what makes an AIO watercooler leak?

simple as it comes, what do you think is the reasons that would make an AIO watercooler leak?
i also have a small question, i just bought a GTX 980Ti extreme waterforce that has a 120mm watercooler and i've noticed that that the small *zig-zagging* tubes on the radiator are a bit bend and not all of them aligned the same way (as if it wasn't built equally)
so it looks more like a manufacturing flaw than a physical damage , so do you think this might leak?
also note that i haven't tried the GPU yet and i won't be able to for a long while unfortunately :/

AiO's really never leak unless you are super rough with it, and in all honesty you're probably fine. Never hear of units leaking...
