Has anyone used any of the New Thermaltake Care series X31, X71, etc cases.

 

They are obvious copies of other cases and I am curious what kind of corners were cut to get the price down.  

 

The only reviews I have seen are from the normal "Everything is great because we got it for free" crowd.  So I thought I would ask here for personal experience. 

Tell my tale to those who ask. Tell it truly; the ill deeds along with the good, and let me be judged accordingly.

I'm using the Core V31, which looks to be superficially similar to the X31. It's a great case, very sturdy with excellent airflow and tons of options for cable management. Only complaint is that the plastic window scratches if you sneeze on it, and it's not wide enough to accommodate the NH-D15 or some other monster cooler I'd love to drop in there. Looks like the X31 is much wider, though, making that a non-issue.

 

*Edit: I paid $40 for my V31 at Fry's, on sale. Definitely not "free for a good review" ;)

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.
