Help Me identify what this is

Hey I found this box in my basement. All it has is a power brick and the box itself. Might have had a remote but i cant seem to be able to turn it on. Any way to jump start the circuit board? Id like to get this working. Thanks

Looks like a video box. Like you get with TV's.

Put power into it (12v DC) and a HDMI cable into a TV.

 

See what happens if you put a keyboard in the USB

I think my question was not understood well... I know it is a iptv box and thats w2hy i want to get it working. Its just there is no brand on it nor any information about it online. I have no way of turning it on as I don’t know the ir codes.

I did the red light at the front flashes once and nothing happens...

pretty sure it's a cable box, like for digital signal. How to work it i have no idea

have you tried putting the HDMI into it? Try a keyboard.

It appears to be made by a company called Intercom Ventures. It's pretty vague, so they don't appear to have an official remote code. If you have a universal remote with a code searching function, give that a go.

Also, see if you can remove the front panel. There is a lot of I/O is behind that, and possibly an alternate way to power on the unit.
