Direct x 12 mixed multi-GPU

Hello enthusiasts,

I read an article about direct x12 and the use of diffrent gpu's from diffrent companys. Im so exited about this because i can still use my r9 290 WITH the benefits of a nvidia card like physics or experience.

 

So i ask my self what would be the best card witch works the best for me. I know a 980 or a 970 are not valuable for a 290 because they might be slightly better which means the r9 is not needet. A 750 ti should be well enought,but what do you think would be a great combo?
