SO im trying to install windows 10 and i get to the point where I have 2 options, either upgrade or custom (advanced), the upgrade option tells me to restart my computer and take out the USB im installing it with, but it never worked. The custom(advanced) option tells me to select a drive, but windows is not recognizing my hard drive at all, or any drive for that matter. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Make sure your hard drive is properly connected, and check that your primary OS is recognizing it.

I try to answer the best I can.

What do you mean Windows doesn't recognise any drive? could just be that you need to delete the partitions and tell it to install to unallocated space (read this as, delete all the partitions on a disk, then rather then click the new partition button, just select the disk and hit next).

Also with the upgrade option, you don't need to disconnect the usb, just don't hit the any key after it reboots, it should then boot to the internal disk.
