I found a firewire 410 and decided to set it up and use it. i found that I believe i need a 6 pin fire wire connector to use it, which my computer doesn't have. What would i need to get this working? Ive looked for adapters but havent really found anything

You mean you need a Firewire port on your PC?  You might be able to buy a PCI card with Firewire ports.  Or if you're on a laptop, an express card/PCMCIA card with Firewire ports.
