So, where do I start.

I let my friend borrow my computer while at my house, and he downloaded a kind of sketchy ROM for mario 64 on my computer. I deleted it, and told him not to do that again, but then weird things started happening to my computer. First, it was slow and unresponsive, to which I ran several Norton full scans (four to be exact) and they all came up negative. I then turned my computer off for a couple of hours and came back. Now, it waits in the 'press del to open UEFI bios' window, stuck at q-code 64, and it will not advance in posting unless I hit the reset button on my case. Once it boots into windows, it is extremely lethargic and slow, and after another two norton scans, I ruled out a virus, and moved to a hardware failure. Another weird issue my computer is having, is the inability of turning off via windows, or a short press of the case power button, it will only turn off if I hold down the case power button. If I try to turn it off in windows, or with my case power button, it will either do nothing, or say shutting down, but move to a black screen where I will have to hold down the power button in order to turn it off. I read that q code 64 means failed drive, and since my OS SSDs are well past their lifespan (they've been going for 4 years and are probably over their writes limit) I was wondering if it could be my SSD RAID array failing. My only other problems with this computer was it staying stuck for about 1:30 on q code 99, but that fixed itself without any intervention, and 2 burned out GPUs (a 7970 and another 980). None of the drives are connected to a RAID card, all of them are connected to the motherboard SATA ports. Should I get new drives, and if so, which ones.

My specs are:
P9x79 Deluxe

i7 3930K (not overclocked)
32gb kingston RAM

OS drive: RAID 1 (2 SSDs) Patriot Wildfires (from 2012)

2 other sets of wildfires in 2 drive RAID 1

GTX 980 superclocked

You might want to try using a different Anti-virus program, some programs don't always detect viruses.

Yeah, I was going to do that in the morning, but I'm still stumped on what q-code 64 is, as its currently keeping my computer from booting properly .

By the way, do you recommend one that works better that Norton?
