Resolution / Display Ports [HELP]

Current Monitor(s): BenQ GL2450HM
Current Graphics Card: R9 380 (I included this because this is the display ports I'm connected to???) - If I'm wrong please correct, lol.

The problem I'm facing is that the resolutions / colours are different on either monitor, and I want to make them the same. How do I do this? will I need to buy a splitter or something?

I know this is a terrible explanation, please ask questions and I can elaborate.

Colors can vary a bit even between monitors of the same model; this is normal.

I think it's because I may be connected 1 with VGA, and 1 with DVI.

Say if I had both HDMI would it be better?

Maybe. If the resolution is different, have you tried changing the resolution in Windows to make it match?

Yeah I've tried that. As my R9 380 has only 1 HDMI Port, do you think this would work??

Yes, but usually a DisplayPort to HDMI cable is a better option for around the same price. Those kinds of adapters are a bit awkward to use.
