Hi ! Another question !

so im Studying Bouwkunde which in English is called building engineering if im not mistaken.

I was hoping that i didnt need a laptop for school but 2 weeks into college i noticed that its way better to have a pc of youre own at school (because the pc's at school are few in numbers and very slow)

so i was thinking of spending something between 600-700 Euros (this is what i classify as affordable but personel opinion differs). I have to use AutoCAD and Revit, i would also use it to play low demanding games in a Lan situation with friends (so not competetively) such as cs go, minecraft etc I was also thinking about the form factor is 17,3" to big to carry around? also Wouldnt a GT740m on a lower resulation absolutly dominate the GT720M on a higher resolution or is the 720M enough for my needs And the diffence in cpu surely is a factor aswell. Which one would you pick or do you have a better recomendation?

so the 2 notebooks im looking at have the following specs

notebook 1

17,3" 1600 x 900

ram: 6GB 1600 MHz

cpu: i5-3230M 2,6GHz (3,2 GHz)

Gpu: GT720M

(€660)

notebook 2

15,6" 1366 x 768

ram: 6GB 1600 MHz

cpu: i5-3337U 1,8GHz (2,7GHz turbo)

gpu:GT740M

(€650)

Specs cpu:  i7 4770k  mobo: z87-pro RAM: Corsair vengeance 8GB GPU: EVGA GTX 770 HDD: WD blue 1TB psu: TX750M case: 550D cooling: H100i monitor: Dell U2410/Samsung sa350

I would go for the second it's more flexible and you may be able to play a game or two on it as most games are GPU bound not CPU bound anymore.
