-A GPU upgrade to a R9 380, or a GTX 970/R9 390 if you've got the cash for it.

-More RAM - another 4GB

-Better PSU - 500W SeaSonic or XFX one would be a good choice.

Be nice to each other boys and girls. And don't cheap out on a power supply.

Anything is possible if you have money. You can upgrade the gpu and increase the ram which is a bit low. Triple a titles at 1080p medium would require a gpu like a gtx 960-970 or amd 380 to 390. I do however recommend waiting a bit as new stuff is going to be released in a few months time (zen, polaris, pascal) which may offer better performance for a cheaper price. You only need to make sure it compatible with your motherboard and fits your case.

For buying new - I'd normally recommend the GTX 950 over the R7 370 but I can't find one under 100 pounds - so R7 370 it is.

However, you should go used. I'd see if you can snag a R9 280X off ebay or something.

See if you can upgrade your GPU, you can find some really good secondhand deals. I was able to pick up a GTX 760 a few months back for £70, that's still sitting in my mates rig and he's quite happy with it.

For the RAM, I would pick up another 4GB stick. Anything from Kingston, Corsair, Crucial, G.Skill, Hynix, etc etc will be fine.

A new PSU would also be a welcome addition. Something like this would be a good upgrade from your current: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-100b10600kr

You should check the chipset of the motherboard as that usually defines what type of ram it can use. Z97 chipset motherboards for example use ddr3 whilst a Z170 motherboard will use dd4. Dont't quote me on that though exceptions exist.
