What are your PC's specs? In particular, what motherboard and/or GPU do you have?

Also, what settings did you change?

Try resetting the CMOS. Not a big problem

Did you try replacing your CMOS? Maybe the CPU didn't like the overclock (although I have to admit, that would be surprising considering it's a K model).

Consult your motherboard manual. But if you don't want to, two metal pins are labelled on your motherboard as CLR_CMOS or something like that and you short it with a metal object

As said above, your motherboard's manual will have instructions on how to do it safely.

Or if you don't want to do that, remove the battery on the board while the PC is powered down and wait 5 minutes, then pit it back in

Following this should do it if you're nervous about removing the battery. This is from the manual I downloaded from MSI's official website.

No, unplugging the computer for 8 hours will not clear the CMOS.

Have you done that before..,

Yes, it is done to reset the BIOS settings, do the battery method or the other, what ever makes you more comfortable doing.

Use something metal to jump the pins and yes, removing the battery won't damage anything if is powered off.

If you are fiddling with BIOS settings you should learn completely how to do it before you go in next time.

But it says not to short it with something metal?

It's the same principle if you don't believe me, there are plenty of videos online shoeing how to do it, even from linus him self

There should be a jumper on two of the three pins, say the left one and the middle one. You have to move it to the middle and the right, turn your computer on once, then turn it off and move it back to left and middle again.

My computer has no jumper it has the pins but no jumper for them, i tried to take battery out but I scared because I feel force between me and the motherboard.

Dont be so afraid just take youre time and remove it. If you dont want to remove the battery there are 2 pins they are naked and labeled CLR_CMOS take a flat head screwdriver and connect the 2 pins togheter

Hey this is exactly what my MOBO manual says, but my BRAND NEW Msi board never came with a jumper for the pins (which is what assume thats what the manual is referring to) explain the diagram to me please if I am wrong!
