I'm in need of a laptop badly and the surface pro ads looks so sexy I couldn't resist looking it up on amazon.

I'm thinking about getting the one with the 128gb ssd and the core i5. Does anyone have this? I'll probably get it. The only thing I'm reluctant about is that I've heard rumors that they can't run executables?

List your opinions below :P

The surface pro is just a laptop but in a tablet form factor and comes with a touch screen. So it runs desktop Windows 8 Pro, so it should run executables.

They're actually running Win10 now, all SP4 models and some late-model SP3s are coming factory with Win10.

Well if by any means you could shoot for the i5 model with 8GB of RAM you might be more future proof with that device.

If not, the 4GB version should be also perfectly fine. Be sure to get a large micro SD card so you can easily double your storage!

You tell me! Who is your daddy and what does he do?
