i7 3770 bottleneck ?

Hello !

I have recently upgraded my old Radeon 7950 GPU with the Gigabyte R9 390.

My curent configuration is : CPU : i7 3770 non-K

Motherboard : Asus P8 Z77 M-pro

RAM : 12 GB - Corsair Vengeance

PSU : 750W Corsair

HDD : 1 TB

SSD : Samsung 850 EVO - 250 GB.

Will my 3770 non-K CPU bottleneck in the near future ? The majority of games now have the i7 3770 as recommended, and we all know that sometimes it takes a lot more than the recommended setting for the game to run smooth, at high settings.

Thank you in advance for your replies.

To counter CPU bottleneck you can play at higher resolutions so the gpu becomes the bottleneck.

The non-K 3770 can be overclocked to 4.1GHz. It should be plenty for future games.
