Acer mousepad stops responding

Hi guys, so yesterday my mousepad stopped working, it happens randomly and especially after i havent touched it for a short amount of time (ex: typing).

My laptop is of the model Acer Aspire E 15 and the model number is E5-552g, i have tried to download the latest Synaptics touchpad drivers, that didnt help, i have tried to restart it a couple of times, nothing seems to work.

 

I do appreciate any help i can get, thanks!
