I purchased the ASRock h110m/ac motherboard and the wires that connect to the built in wirelss I couldn't for the life of me get them to go on. Then I noticed one of the metal ends on the wire was bent a bit. Would it work if I used wire glue to put it on?

Don't glue it it won't be able to make a proper connection, they just go over the round connector and press in place, they also some in different sizes so make sure they both are the correct size.

I double checked the sizes and the main one went on piece of cake but the other on that goes to the aux I looked at it with a magnifying glass and it does appear to be bent. What would be the best way of getting it if wire glue would not work? I'm afraid to solder it.

I would take a pair of tweezers to try and bend it back to original if you can, the issue with glue is it can insulate and not make a connection.

Thanks for the information i will try that sure wish it was bigger so I could actually see it lol. Is there any other alternatives if that doesn't work? If worse comes to worst how important is the aux?

I believe it will work with just the Main the reason they have a Main and Aux is for more diversity or options for choosing the best signal.

It's so small that I can't seem to get it to straighten out. I might have a friend that maybe able to solder it for me if it would work. Under further inspection it looks as if someone has tried to force it on at some point as not only is the wire end bent so is the chip side. That is what I was thinking was for diversity reasons, I wonder how bad that would effect my signal.

I'm pretty sure the effect won't be too bad unless your in a very busy environment with lots of interference from other devices.

Ok, thanks I will give it a shot and see how it works, thanks for all your help. I'm kinda pissed with the company though.

If you really want the antennas can be replaced if they they aren't too hard to remove, the hassle is getting them out since they are usually buried behind parts.
