Hi.

Not quite sure if I posted this in the correct place, if not, please move it :P

I'm current using 5 seperate USB drives for backup of my data.

I started with 3 drives, then added another, and then again, another.

I'm running out of USB ports, and the solution is quite as clean as i want it to be.

So, i'm searching for an enclosure for multiple drives, that connects to the PC with 1 USB 3.0 cable.

The drives should still show up as seperate drives, so no RAID.

Does such an enclosure exist? Or do i need to tinker myself with a USB HUB and a old PC case or something like that? :P

Best regards, Dennis.

Why are you backing up in this way? you should probably find a better solution for back ups like a NAS

Desktop - Corsair 300r i7 4770k H100i MSI 780ti 16GB Vengeance Pro 2400mhz Crucial MX100 512gb Samsung Evo 250gb 2 TB WD Green, AOC Q2770PQU 1440p 27" monitor Laptop Clevo W110er - 11.6" 768p, i5 3230m, 650m GT 2gb, OCZ vertex 4 256gb,  4gb ram, Server: Fractal Define Mini, MSI Z78-G43, Intel G3220, 8GB Corsair Vengeance, 4x 3tb WD Reds in Raid 10, Phone Oppo Reno 10x 256gb , Camera Sony A7iii

Hmm, proberly could.

All files are stored on a server running RAID5, and i just used USB drives because i don't need the functionallity of a NAS, my server handles all that and more.

Also, a NAS would use more power, atleast i think so.
