Core clock is the processing units clock speed, the core of your graphics card. As for which one is more important, it depends. You give us no information at all, it would be nice to know what graphics card we are talking about, which games you will be playing (BF3 loves memory clock on Kepler GPU's).

In my experience, you want to get the maximum core clock, without sacrificing too much memory. No doubt that core clock gives better results than memory, but only to a certain point.

W/o Voltage tweak? Why not just use CCC Overdrive?

Unless you didn't install CCC because you didn't need to adjust the HDMI scaling because you like DVI+analog cables for your audio, like a baws.

MSI AB: MSI Afterburner, it is a GPU overclocking software.

DVI: White, kinda square output on a GPU.

Of course it'll be stable, 7970s are the best overclockers to date , depending on how lucky you are with the silicone lottery you'll probably be able to push it even further.

Oh lol, every GPU & CPU chip overclocks differently, some chips barely overclock while others overclock insanely well, how well your chip will overclock largely depends on how lucky you are, so we call it the silicone lottery.

But with 7970 cards 1100mhz is practically guaranteed on even the worst possible chips.

IF you crossfire with different overclocking will it run both at the same time? or must be same clock speed?

as u said not every GPU can overclock the same.

You can crossfire two cards with different clocks, but it's better to run both at the same clock rate and memory clock .
