what sort of speeds are you wanting between the two buildings, because if it's not too fast you could use one of the Loco M5's as they are relatively cheap and easy to set up.

well then even a loco M2 may do the job, like in Linus' video they are powered via an included POE injector so all you have to do is mount the two devices pointing at eachother, then run an ethernet cable inside the shop and the house then each to a power injector which you will need to plug into ac power. The final hardware configuration step is to connect your router to the poe injector in the house and then after setting up the software you will have a bridge between the two buildings. If you want wi-fi in your shop also you will need to set up  a wi-fi access point or if you just need ethernet you can plug your computer straight into the poe injector.
