Driver problem on Windows server 2012 R2

Hello all,

I'm trying to "pilot" test Windows Server 2012 R2. I had an extra ssd and installed the os onto that drive. Not really the point of this topic...

My problem is that I can't any drivers onto it using my asus x99-a usb 3.1 motherboard. The driver I'm most concerned about is my Intel Lan driver. I try running the asus setup that comes with the driver download and I get the error incompatible os. I try running the Intel setup in the download but at the end it says that I have no Intel controller. I tried using the download I found on Intel's website for Windows server 2012 R2 but still said I have no network controller from Intel. I tried using this one "hacking guide" that I found online, but no luck.

does anyone have a solution?

THX in advance
