I have a 18 – 24 month old school pc and over the next 6-8 months I want to upgrade it, totally.

Its going to be an ongoing project and I would love some inputs on anything.

So at the moment I have an Acer Aspire XC600 with

Acer h61h2- ad mainboard

Intel i5-3350P

2x8Gb ram

NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M

1 Tb hdd

220V PSU

And the plan is now to get

Fractal design define r5

Corsair RM750x

The pay check after that

MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4GB

Corsair H110I GT

Then

ASUS Z170 PRO GAMING, Socket-1151

Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000MHz 8GB (2x4Gb)

Intel Core i5-6500K Skylake

There next

Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000MHz 8GB (2x4Gb)

And for x-mas a second

MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4GB

So…… my main questions are: is the PSU to small are there, any parts that are better for less, SSD yes or no and is 3000Mhz to much or do I need faster RAM

I would get a SSD first, than maybe a new case (if the current hardware fits, don`t bother),

then EVGA G2, XFX, Seasonic PSU,

then 390 or higher (SLI isn`t really optimized, nor handy dandy),

then the CPU, mobo and other stuff

to game or not to game, that`s the question
