So I just bought a 7850 after my 7950 died. I know, it's not in the same league, but my pocketbook couldn't withstand the hit.

Well, I was doing some overclocking in MSI Afterburner and here's what I got for scores with the basic test:

Stock 860mhz:

-Graphics: 5062

-Physics: 5904

-Comb: 5387

O/C @ 925mhz:

-Graphics: 5343

-Physics: 5894

-Comb: 5434

Not very much performance boost for such an o/c, huh? At least that's what I'm thinking. I did notice, however than 3DMark listed my ram as 667mhz when it's actually 1600mhz. What's up with that? Also, am I right about the sucky overclocking?

O/C @ 1050mhz (w/ 1300mhz mem o/c):

-Graphics: 5870 (5981)

-Physics: 5886 (5896)

-Comb: 5421 (5450)

If it can mean anything to anybody at any time, it means nothing.
