I was wondering if anyone knew a nice VERY small case with preferably Micro ATX support but I'm willing to give it up and go ITX for a smaller form factor. I looked at the SG 13 but it looks quite ugly. Any cases around that form factor that actually look good? Thanks

if you mean SG13 sized, no (bear in mind there are 2 versions). nothing else is quite THAT small.

Node 804 is about the most compact cuboid Micro-ATX case i know of. (and any micro ATX tower I've seen is the same size as the NZXT S340, an ATX case)

there are plenty of interesting ITX options, any features/shapes in particular?

for something similar in design there's the Fractal Design Core 500, and Node 304, and Corsair 250D.

for something more striking there's the Corsair 380T, and Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ITX.

for something thinner there's the Fractal design Node 202, and various Silverstone cases.

I currently have an s340 but I have to store to under my desk because it is too if for my liking. I was looking for something smaller and cool looking to put on top of my desk with very limited space.

so, limited width and depth then?

well if you want the minimum amount of desk space to be taken up, then probably the Node 202, it come with a stand that lets you prop it up vertically. It cant take standard HDDs though.

if you want something that will seamlessly accommodate all parts excluding the motherboard of your current system, then the Evolv ITX would probably be your best bet, however it takes up a similar amount of desk space to the S340 (slightly wider, but considerably less deep, and less tall(not that height is much of an issue in this circumstance).

then there's the Core 500, 250D, and 380T. which should fit all your components except the 212 EVO.

I also forgot the mention the NCase M1 which i think is actually better suited to your task than the SG13.

I was looking at the bitfenix prodigy m, but it seems the size is very similar to that of the s340. Also the hyper 212 height issue won't matter because I am replacing it anyways with a liquid cooler

Also when looking at the specs of the m1 is it just me or is it actually smaller than the sg13?

You could also build the PC into the desk like Linus did that one time ;)

i7 4790k | MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition | G.Skill Ripjaws X 16 GB | Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB | 2x Seagate Barracuda 2TB | MSI GTX 970 Twin Frozr V | Fractal Design R4 | EVGA 650W

A gaming PC for your budget: $800 - $1000 - $1500 - $1800 - $2600 - $9001
