I guess the i3 4170 is best suited at that price point.

 

I'd honestly save up some more for an i5 though.

I want to get a new system CPU but have no idea what to chose, I was wondering what I could get for 100 GBP (Roughly 140 USD) for my processor, everything else is already sorted so it has to be the LGA1150 socket and support DDR3

what are you going to use it for?

cpu: intel i3-6100 @ 3.70 Ghz (stock) gpu: Sapphire Nitro OC R9 380 4GB motherboard: Gigabyte H110M-DS2-CF

If you can find a cheap i5 on a deal or something that would be great, but for 100 GBP that would be pushing it a bit. Cheapest one on PCPartPicker is 144 GBP http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/intel-cpu-bx80646i54460

Pentium could be an option for you, but i would  save another £50 or so and get an i5.

yea, just go for the i3 4170 or a cheap i5
