So apparently I am one of the unlucky few who have problems with the above mentioned monitor. Some people experience problems with the monitor flickering, mine just randomly goes into standy.....all sorts of weird stuff happening and according to DELL a replacement won't help. It is a compatibility issue with some hardware though they don't know what and why. Support was friendly, but not helpful. I will be sending my monitor back now, which makes me really sad. Amazon said they will give me a full refund and then I have some money to buy a new montior.....though there is not really anything nice out there for the price. I know there is nice monitors available, but 1080p is not really something I want to buy, since I still have a 1080p Samsung right here and most other monitors are just too freaking expensive.

What would you do? I was looking at LG ultrawides, but really 29" is kinda small I fell and ergonomics a sh**. 34" are just too expensive.....

So what monitor do you use and why do you love it/ hate it?

I already looked at 144hz and the only thing in my price range is the 2411Z from Benq, which apparently has aweful colors, even for a TN it is supposed to be really bad.

....thanks. That's about 80 bucks extra......not really willing to pay that much and stay with 1080p.

Would be a nice monitor though.

I can confirm it's nice. Something second-hand then? I don't think you can get quality 120hz monitors for a low price

Or possibly look up some of the korean monitors, they seem to accept overclocking quite well

I do understand aha! Just unfortunate it couldn't work out!

On another not my freinds have korean 120hz monitors and they look real good. The picture that is. The aesthetic of the monitors are normally appalling!

Yeah, those are not available in Germany. Sucks I guess.

I mean 300€ is a lot of money.....why is it so hard to get something decent. I have already been looking at Freesync monitors, but those are apparently also not too great.
