Peripherals USB 2 vs 3?

I am aware of the difference in transfer speeds being higher in 3 vs 2 for usb, but for my mouse, keyboard, orbweaver, etc, is there any real benefit to attaching  them to a USB 3 port vs a 2 port? I also realize that input devices do not send a whole lot of data, I suppose my question would be related to latency.

If they support usb 3.0 then they will benefit from it in one way or another, but not much.
