Hi everyone,

I have decided that with my next paycheque I need to upgrade my keyboard. Obviously there is a ridiculous amount of choice which is why I am jumping on here for some help. I have never owned a mechanical keyboard but I have wanted one for quite a while but I just didn't know what type to get plus I didn't want to part with the additional cash for one.

First off I am willing to spend around £70-80 max and I want Cherry MX Brown switches because I like the idea of them being a bit more silent and I don't do a huge amount of gaming so I don't feel like I need Cherry MX Red switches.

I have also just put a sofa into my bedroom so I would really like the option of the keyboard being wireless so that I can chill out a bit more easily instead of having to stretch wires across my room.

Other features that I would like but are not necessarily needed are the following:

  • Backlit keys
  • Number pad
  • Media controls

Anyway I think that is quite enough of me rambling on about the features I would like, if anyone has any good suggestions let me know as pay day is quickly approaching!!

Thanks :)

Did you want a keyboard with the UK keyboard layout?
