Artifacts and Screen blacking out

Ive just come back from a 2 week trip overseas.

 

My computer seems to be artifacting and sometimes just going black for a few seconds. I have 2 monitors and the only affected one seems to be the HDMI connection where the DVI connected monitor seems fine.

 

What could be the issue here?

 

EDIT: note the GPU is at stock settings and not OC'd

Could be the cable causing issues.
