Hi, I have a g402 and I want to make some of the buttons for volume but only when I'm not on games. Is there any way to do that like making a profile for the desktop. Or do I just have to deal with it.

With the G502 you can make different profiles i  the software and change between them with a button on the mouse. Maybe this is the same for the G402.

Does this help?

"Its not exactly profile saving, but by adding the game to the Select Program menu (via the 'Manage Programs' button), it is possible to program the buttons to perform different functions in different games without affecting functionality in other applications."
