Idea for Mobile/PC App

My idea for an application is a 3D representation of a computer case of your choice. From there you would add parts to the build preferably using drag and drop. The parts would be of scale so you could see how they fit. A list should be available with compatible parts and incompatible parts greyed out. The textures could be applied and a life-like 3d representation of your PC could be created. From there you could order to have it built or have the parts shipped.

That's cool, but I don't see what the question is?

The idea's not that bad, but I don't see many people would need this kind of software, except for some small form factor case enthusiasts. An app like this would require you to do a shitload of 3D drawing, the GPUs are quite simple, but all the cases? All the custom loops? That's difficult man. Not to mention everything has to be drawn in "vector format".

Yes you are right about the amount of work involved. I just wanted to throw the idea out there and see what people thought. It could be an idea for a custom pc builder website.
