Hi

Me and headphones don't really work well together. In the past 2 years, I've been through 4 pairs of headphones (3x Sennheiser CX300-ii and, recently, 1x Sennheiser CX400-ii).

I'm looking for some earphones that can delivery punchy bass but not deafen me. Doesn't matter if they're on-ear or in-ear.

I've had a look at the Sennheiser Urbanites that Linus reviewed a while back and they would be good for me but, I'm just wondering if there any other options at that price point (£100) that are better in terms of performance and looks.

Any and every suggestion is welcome and thank you in advance for the help.

In terms of in ear headphones, I would reccomend the soundmagic e50(there is an s model which has a built in mic and what not) or the e10 the model before, there both great I had e10s for 2 and half years until mine broke due to wear and tear, but I could have easily got 3+ (very optimistic) years out of them. They come with a nice case compared to the those Sennheiser's you had which are built pretty poorly IMO. I had the CX300 you had and they broke within 3 months

Are you looking for earphones or headphones? You post is a bit confusing.

For earphone, you could get the Shure Se215s or the Sennheiser Momentum In-Ears.

Personally, I find the Shures to be the most comfortable, but the Sennheisers sounds just a bit better.

For headphones, you can get the Sennheiser HD280 Pros.

To clarify, I'm not bothered which I get, I just wanted them to be comfortable, have great performance, look good and have punchy bass. In line Mic is optional but would be nice.

Thank you for the suggestions, I'll check them out. Please keep them coming and I'll keep looking.
