Wow the Tascam is so cheap! That may just be the winner for that reason alone haha But, I have had my eye on the Komplete Audio 6. And the guitar software it comes with is a tempting bonus. Do you know how that would stack up to the Tascam?

There's plenty of free VSTs and other cheap stuff for different DAW's

As for the Interface its self, My winner would be Tascam, you can spend the money you saved on good VST's and such.

Hey again everyone, I am in the market for a new or used audio interface for my home studio. I currently use a mid 2011 iMac and Logic Pro X and the interface I am finally upgrading is the M-Audio Fast Track Pro which I have had a love/hate relationship since I have gotten it a number of years ago now. I am using all of my USB ports on my iMac currently besides what my audio interface is using now, so I do not have a preference on thunderbolt or USB, I just care about what will have the best converters for my budget which is around or under $200. The only analog instrument I record is guitars using line in. Any suggestions?

How many I/O's do you need?

Really, I only need two in two out at the bare minimum. RCA in would be a plus but is not needed.
