G502 Scroll wheel macro

Hey guys,

I recently bought the G502 mouse from Logitech and I want to set a macro to the scroll wheel (rapid fire for example), but not to the middle click, but to the scroll itself (scroll down, scroll up) in order to use the hyper scroll. The LGS software only allows me to assign a macro to the click. Help?

Can you go into the control menu and set the "fire" to scroll wheel by scrolling up/down instead of middle clicking?

That's the problem, the whole scroll wheel is selectable, but no scroll option.

hm. See, this is what I was planning to do for csgo, but I havn't tested to see if it works. What game are you talking about?

Cs go  Rek-9 in particular. I mapped one of the side buttons for rapid fire, but I want to mess with the scroll wheel too

Can you set it to do that by making a new prodile in the Logitech driver thing and replacing it with left click?

Now, I am using the Logitech Gaming Software aka "The Logitech driver thing". When I click on the scroll wheel and set a command it sets the command to the middle mouse button click. Bloody hell, help me please, I want to rek scrubs on pistol rounds.

if it is for cs go just bind it in game. It is relatively common to bind the scroll where for bunny hopping so just look into that to learn how to do it.

 

I think it is something like

bind "mwheelup" +attack

bind "mwheeldown" +attack

Just remember that in pretty much any online game, your macro cannot have multiple actions tied to a single press. So for example setting a macro on the mousewheel that doubletaps the Fire button on mwheelup would be a bannable offense. Basically: If you cannot do the exact same macro via the in-game options, it's going to be bannable.
