PC won't sleep... again

This is something that's been happening as long as I've had my Asus Z97-e motherboard and Windows 8.1 and 10.

I'll do a format and fresh install of Windows and for a couple months my computer will sleep exactly when I've set it to in power options. Then, all of a sudden with no apparent change of configuration or new programs installed, my PC will stop going to sleep unless I push the sleep button in the start menu.

Whatever it is, doesn't seem to wake up my computer once it's sleeping, but is preventing my computer from going to sleep on its own.

Can anyone think of what might cause this? I'm not the kind of person to install a lot of random programs. Pretty much all that's on my computer is Steam + games, Firefox, Powerdirector 13, Photoshop, Teamspeak, msi afterburner, cpu-z and AVG antivirus.

Is there a way to figure out which tasks or programs are running that would prevent a computer from sleeping?
