Windows 10 Net framework 3.5 issue !

Net framework 3.5 is not installing on windows 10. I tried various methods specified on the net including giving a command in command prompt as well but it just doesn't install. It downloads itself and gives some error code (x0800...something like that). I cant play some games because of that (especially Assassin's creed unity - it crashes without even launching the game). Need serious help here please.

Here's how to get it installed:

 

1. Win+R

2. Type "optionalfeattures"

3. Scroll down the list to find the .NET Framework you're looking for - tick the box

4. Continue with the onscreen prompts to install

I tried that too, it downloads files for installation and then gives a message saying windows couldn't complete the requested changes with error code 0x80070002.

I literally did it a few minutes ago to see if it works and it said that the changes have been successfully installed.. must be something else wrong with your PC.

I tried that too, didn't work !!
