Hey guys! So it recently came to my attention that my hard drive was getting kinda messy with programs, and I decided it was time to invest (finally) in an SSD. So I got myself a nice 256GB SSD, but here's where my dilemma starts: I want to put my programs and such on my SSD, and my bulk storage on my HDD (960GB) and OneDrive. So, do I do a fresh install, or do I redirect my programs and boot drive? It'd be great if you guys could tell me the advantages of both, and what you would personally do.

Thanks in Advance!

I would do a clean install. Its always better to clean install your operating system rather than cloning or anyuthing along those lines. Plus it will be hard to clone a hard drive from 960GB to 256GB. Im gonna say this may be your only option really.

Intel Core i7-6700k | 2 X Gigabyte 4GB GTX 970 Overclocked Edition | 16GB (4X4GB) DDR4 2133MHz Corsair Dominator Platinum | MasterCase Pro 5

ASUS Z170 Deluxe Motherboard | 256GB Samsung 840 Pro + Seagate 2TB Storage | Corsair Hydro H80i GT | Windows 10 Pro 64bit | Corsair HX850i

I would go fresh install, a fresh start for a fresh SSD

Wow, that was fast! I look away for 3 minutes and I already have a response! I was leaning towards fresh install, but didn't know if I wanted to go through with it. I'm definitely going to do the fresh install now, thanks for the input!
