I started to do some generic computer repairs and data recovery services to classmates in uni and soon after it became quite a booming side-job.
Although it seems most of my work has concentrated to data recovery and such.

Currently I get the HDD-s in my to-do pile, Shut off the machine, plug as many as possible into the machine, turn it back on and work on them... usually working on one or two at a time, even though more are connected. (It's amazing though how much windows 10 automatic repair is able to solve the problems).

What I have thought is getting 2 hot swap bays. Dual hot swap bay for 2.5 inch drives and one for 3.5 inch drives.
I would plug in the drive or two I want to work on and swap them out as I go trough the pile. Without shutting down the machine.

Is there any issues with that approach I should be worried about?
