Any info about exactly what happened? A timeline of events that includes what you were doing before it started to BSOD?

If "KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED" is what happened, then either your Windows installation is borked or your memory is borked.

Memtest86+ failed.

New ram... 1 month old...

I tried my 4GB kit earlier which was dead so maybe I messed up reinstalling my Kingston kit.

Nope second RAM slot in board is faulty, PC now won't boot with Ram in that slot but will with channel 1/3 occupied.

I hope this is not another mobo about to die ;_; I'm having such shit luck these days, my MSI 890FX died and took my 7770 & ram with it.

Phenom though.. Shit just glances off it.

OK I'm about to end memtest86+ it's got to 50% with zero errors before it error'd at 18%.

Can you elaborate on exactly what is going on with your ram? Which Ram slot is the "second" one that is faulty, the channel partner of the 1st slot, or the one next to it? And I don't know what you mean by "channel 1/3", because the Z97 chipset you have (which I assume is the one you are dealing with since it's in your sig and you didn't specify) only supports dual channel. Do you mean slots 1 and 3? ?In which case, I'd again like to know how you are counting the slots.
