I hit my powerbutton, and my computer goes into hibernation. (Pre built.)

I more or less always have Steam, Skype and somtimes Spotify running as I put it into hibernation.

Whenever I acsess either of those 3 on my iPod, or start up my laptop, then my computer wakes up from it's hibernation. (Sometimes also by itself.)

Sometimes when it wakes up, do I hit the powerbutton again while it's waking up. (Before the "Windows Resumes" appear) and it instantly turns off, and it no longer turns on, unless I hit the power button.

My question is: Whill this damage my computer? Either though hardware and/or software. I doubt it, but just want to be sure.

Besides maybe causing the PC to boot into startup repair and maybe some data loss it should not hurt the system.

Some risk of data corruption since when it wakes from hibernation it's taking data stored in a temp location from your drive and putting it back into your RAM. Shutting down in the process may damage that data. Not likely to damage your hardware.

There's risk of losing data that is being accessed while its waking or closing. As well as possible corruption of Windows itself everytime you erupt normal process. Just don't do that and remove any Wake-On events you don't want.

I'm gonna say what everybody don't do it it may not have any issues now but eventually it might cause startup files to be corrupted and there is the chance that it may need to repair itself hence data loss. it's kind of like you're installing some software and you switch off the the computer.

1-Did it install? not properly.

2-Do you have corrupted and or missing files yes most probably.

3- Is it pain in the ass because it takes up valuable time? hell yes
